WIE WORD ‘N MILJOENÊR S5
Binge from Tuesday, 30 September on Showmax
Over the past four seasons of kykNET’s popular quiz show Wie Word ’n Miljoenêr?, fans at home have been shouting answers at their screens as contestants fumbled their way through the climb toward the R1 million question.
Since Wie Word ’n Miljoenêr? first premiered on kykNET in 2021, only one contestant has managed to walk away with the full R1 million. That was Herman Bosman, a flower farmer from George, who used his final lifeline – his mother – in episode 12 of S4. The R1 million question was about which relic kept in the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris remained unscathed after the devastating 2019 fire. His mother, Vida, said it was the Crown of Thorns. She was right.
Host Rian van Heerden won Best Presenter: Entertainment at Silwerskerm in 2024 and was nominated again this year.
