How To Ruin Love Is Back!
12 November 2025, South Africa — Netflix has officially set the date for the next chapter in the beloved How To Ruin franchise. The three-episode series is set to launch exclusively on Netflix on 19 December. Created and produced by the award-winning Burnt Onion Productions, How To Ruin Love: The Lobola picks up where Zoleka (Sivenathi Mabuya-Bukani) and Kagiso’s (Bohang Moeko) tangled love story left off in How To Ruin Love: The Proposal.

How To Ruin Love: The Lobola features a star-studded cast of South African performers, including Tina Jaxa, Marjorie Langa, Shoki Mmola, Sello Ramolahloane, Dumisani Mbebe, Ayanda Daweti and John Morapama, who reprise their roles as the meddlesome in-laws. Tembinkosi Ngcukana and Zola Nombona join the cast, bringing a fresh twist of drama to the storyline.
