CYFRED & SAYFAR UNVEIL NOMORO DOCKET, A DOUBLE-DISC AMAPIANO STATEMENT BRIDGING THE STREETS AND THE MAINSTREAM
JOHANNESBURG, November 14, 2025 | Powerhouse producers Cyfred and Sayfar join forces for Nomoro Docket, a powerful double-disc Amapiano album that captures the full spectrum of the genre from its underground pulse to its commercial shine.
Rooted in the language of the streets, the project’s title Nomoro meaning “number” in Amapiano slang
The project pays homage to the instrumental-driven soundscapes that define township sets and dance floors across South Africa. Cyfred and Sayfar enlist a selection of rising underground talents including Mdesharo, Maningidemc, and Toby Franco bringing fresh energy and unfiltered authenticity to the mix.
Disc 1 of Nomoro Docket delivers rich, vocal-led cuts that fuse commercial appeal with the genre’s deep township roots. Each record is anchored by infectious hooks and evocative storytelling, crafted to resonate with the mainstream while staying grounded in Amapiano’s raw spirit.
Disc 2, on the other hand, dives straight into the pulse of the streets, a stripped-down, percussive, and soulful exploration of pure Amapiano. It’s a sonic playground where basslines, log drums, and rhythm take center stage. The fully instrumental approach marks a first of its kind in the Amapiano landscape. a bold statement that celebrates music as an experience beyond words.
Speaking about the concept, Cyfred shares,
“Nomoro Docket is us giving the streets their own spotlight. Every ‘number’ we play in the hood has its own story, its own energy and we wanted to translate that into something timeless. This album is a love letter to where we come from and proof that street music belongs on the biggest stages.”
Echoing this sentiment, Sayfar adds,
“Amapiano has always lived between two worlds, the raw and the refined. With Nomoro Docket, we wanted to show how those worlds can coexist. It’s about balancing hard drums with clean mixes, street grooves with emotion.”
