Growing up in KuGatyana in Willowvale, she discovered her passion for acting at a young age. Kay’s journey in the world of entertainment began with drama lessons in Grade 6 at Gonubie Primary School, where she portrayed Shakespeare’s Lady Macbeth in Grade 7.
Her talent and dedication led her to Stirling High School, where she honed her skills further by writing, directing, and producing for the Ubuntu and Xhosa Cultural societies. In 2021, Kay took her passion for storytelling to the next level by enrolling at the University of Johannesburg to pursue a degree in Marketing Management.
Kay’s acting career took off when she landed the role of 2 Sly in the Mzansi Magic drama series “Umbuso” in 2022. She continued to shine on screen with a memorable appearance in the final season of “The Queen”.
Despite her rising fame, Kay remains humble and focused on her craft, keeping her private life away from the public eye.
