98th Academy Awards to be Broadcast Live on M-Net on 16 March

The 98th Academy Awards ceremony will be broadcast live from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on M-Net (DStv Channel 101) in the early hours of Monday, 16 March. Get ready for film’s biggest night starting with Oscars Red Carpet Live 2026 at 00:30 CAT, followed by the main event, the starting at 01:00 CAT. Late-night legend Conan O’Brien returns for a second consecutive turn as host of the ‘Oscars’, film’s biggest night, promising his trademark wit and high-energy delivery.

For those who miss the late-night glamour, the full ceremony will be available on Monday 16 March on MM1 DStv Channel 104 at 19:00 and on Saturday, 21 March at 20:00 on M-Net.

M-Net – The Home of Survivor – Celebrates the Show’s Landmark 50th Season 

Survivor celebrates a half-century of seasons with a landmark season themed ‘In the Hands of the Fans’, integrating celebrity appearances and first-ever fan-voted game mechanics, which a star-studded roster of 24 returning castaways must negotiate in their bid to become the 50th Sole Survivor. The first episode – a 3-hour Survivor feast – comes to M-Net on 15 March at 6pm, with subsequent episodes running to 90 minutes.

The Madison arrives simultaneously on M-Net, Express from the US and Showmax from 12:01 (midday) on 15 March, with a prime-time M-Net slot at 9pm on the same day, running for six episodes.

Starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell as Stacy and Preston Clyburn, The Madison is a  heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family who move to the Madison River Valley of Central Montana to recover, following a tragedy that shattered the family.

 Teenager Lily Riser is abducted from a quiet English rural town by a man she trusted – her teacher, Rick Hansen – and held for his own sinister purposes in a remote location. Using only her wits, she must survive and plan her escape.
