Founded by actress, philanthropist, businesswoman, and event architect Sophie Ndaba in June 2025 at the Business of Fashion conference – the SN Fashion Hub empowers and showcases South Africa’s design talent through mentorship, business development, and high-profile showcases. “This is more than a fashion show – it’s a celebration of creativity, culture, and collaboration,” says Ndaba.

About the Basha Uhuru Freedom Festival:
The festival is one of two event properties owned, registered and trademarked by Constitution Hill Museum and UNESCO World Heritage Site (and by implication – the Gauteng Province). This event aimed at driving visitation to the province and providing annual development programs and market access to Gauteng’s Creative Economy.
The Basha Uhuru Freedom festival is an opportunity to learn and be inspired, share skills and nurture talent, network, collaborate, create and monetize whilst driving important conversations affecting the creative sector.
