His sleuthing is quickly put to the test though in the case of the three Santa Clauses found dead under almost impossible circumstances, a murder on a zipline and a “rum” case of poisoning. But Wilson also has a mystery of his own to solve – one that’s very close to home.

A corpse is found stuffed inside a dummy at the local fair; tragedy hits a visiting TV crew; and a gruesome discovery is made in Edie’s beloved allotment plot.

Four famous faces will leave behind their lives of luxury to embark upon an epic 10,000km race from Africa to the Arctic. They will face the same hardships, twists and turns as the regular series, but will enjoy the same rewards the thrill of the race has to offer. The only support the celebrities will have is their travelling partner – a trusted family member. Taking on the race are McFly drummer Harry Judd and his mum, Emma, British racing driver and pundit Billy Monger and his sister Bonny, singer-songwriter Mel Blatt and her mum, Helene and broadcaster Alex Beresford with his dad, Noel.
