Johannesburg – 9 June 2025- “BET Awards” 2025 is almost here, and the energy starts right before the main show kicks off. BET announced today the official hosts, performers, and special appearances for the “Red Carpet Live” pre-show airing LIVE at 00:00 CAT on BET. Beloved TV personality and red-carpet favorite Terrence J returns to the preshow stage alongside comedian Pretty Vee to co-host welcoming the biggest stars in music, entertainment, and sports as they arrive for Culture’s Biggest Night.
“Red Carpet Live Show” will also feature an electrifying lineup of live performances from rising stars and cultural icons including: 803 Fresh, GELO, Honey Bxby, Jordan Adetunji, Laila!, Larry June, The Alchemist, Mario, Rob49, Shop Boyz, Ying Yang Twins, Trillian, and a special performance by the legendary Lil’ Kim. Spice of Jamaica and Moliy of Ghana will hit the stage with a global performance moment while 2 Chainz will exclusively premiere a new video during the live show.
Additional pre-show hosts include Jacob Latimore, Jessie Woo, LeToya Luckett-Coles, , and Mouse Jones. The official pre-show DJ is Jae Murphy, who will set the vibe and soundtrack to red carpet arrivals with a high-energy live set. Matasa Williams is the Executive Producer of the “Red Carpet Live Show”.
Ledisi and Keyshia Cole (106 & Park Tribute) join previously announced names as “BET Awards” 2025 performers. Elmiene and Ravyn Lenae will grace the BET Amplified Stage, performing during the live broadcast.
“BET Awards” 2025, hosted by Kevin Hart, will air LIVE Tuesday, 10 June at 02:00 CAT on BET. Celebrating 25 years of Black excellence and cultural impact, this year’s show is set to be one of the most iconic yet.
Connie Orlando, EVP of Specials, Music Programming & Music Strategy, serves as the Executive Producer for “BET Awards” 2025, with Jamal Noisette, SVP of Tentpoles & Music Community Engagement, for BET. Jesse Collins Entertainment is the production company for the show, with Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon, and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay also serving as Executive Producers.
