Last night, 02 February from 18:00, Biggie’s house was a hive of tension-filled activity with the weekly Head of House (HoH) challenge and the nominations which were nothing short of ‘live condemnation’ for some.
For the second week in a row, Tumi the Barber secured the highly-coveted HoH title after an intense showdown with Neliswa, who was also competing for the position for the second time. Tumi’s first reign, however, was marked by challenges, especially his struggle to get the housemates to cooperate during the wager task, which ultimately resulted in a loss.
With memories of that setback still fresh, it remains to be seen whether the housemates will respond differently to Tumi’s leadership this time, especially as no one is eager to face another wager loss.
ASIPHELI UMOYA
This week’s theme is Asipheli Umoya and the housemates will be stretched out of their comfort zones and allow resilience to shine! No shortcuts, but just pure grit, discipline, and pushing way past their limits. They will face everything from confronting their inner demons to brutal endurance. They are currently observing a great divide set by Biggie, which separates the gents and ladies for the week.
Nominations
This week’s nominations also took an unexpected turn when Biggie announced that they would be conducted face-to-face, sending the house into a tailspin of nerves. Each housemate was required to stand up and nominate two fellow housemates, stating their choices and also the reasons for the nomination, forcing honesty and accountability in front of the entire house.
Ultimately, the housemates who ended up being nominated for this week’s eviction are: Ashay, Bravo B, Buhle B, Didi, Kind Wanda, Kokii, Liema, Mshefane, Thandeka, Que, and Trixie.
