Johannesburg, 29 January 2026: February at chiesa di PAZZO LUPi promises a rich month of live music, culture and connection, with five exceptional acts performing across the month at this intimate Melville venue.
chiesa di PAZZO LUPi isn’t just a concert venue – it’s a unique Melville experience. Guests can enjoy the venue’s signature piadine, Italian flatbreads filled with fresh, flavourful ingredients, along with other simple yet delicious dishes, all in the comfort of a space with secure, free parking. After two captivating sets, visitors can continue the evening exploring Melville’s lively cafés, bars and hidden nighttime gems.
Among the February programme is a special performance by Louis Mhlanga, one of Southern Africa’s most respected and influential musicians. Born in Zimbabwe and now based in South Africa, Mhlanga is an award-winning guitarist, producer and composer whose career spans five decades. His collaborations read like a who’s who of African music, including Oliver Mtukudzi, Miriam Makeba, Hugh Masekela, Ray Phiri and Vusi Mahlasela. Known for his masterful fusion of African pop, jazz and improvisation, Mhlanga’s performances are intimate, expressive and technically sublime.

A South African-Swiss jazz collective led by saxophonist Benedikt Reising, featuring Thandi Ntuli, Shane Cooper and Paul Amereller. The group reunites for a South African tour, performing music from their acclaimed self-titled EP.
