Johannesburg, Friday, 23 January 2026 – Today, acclaimed South African artists Msaki and Jesse Clegg reveal “Untimely Disclosure,” the final single ahead of their highly anticipated joint EP, Entropy, due for release on 27 February. The song marks the last chapter before fans are able to fully experience the project in its complete musical and visual form.

“Untimely Disclosure” holds a special place in the Entropy journey, as it was the very first song Msaki and Jesse wrote together — the spark from which the world of the EP began to unfold. The track traces the fragile interior of a relationship coming undone, where a single moment stretches endlessly and one word can splinter into multiple, opposing truths.

“In loving another, we are inevitably drawn inward — asked to confront our own reflection, to recognize our worth, and to remain faithful to the quiet voice of our truth,” the duo share.
“The figures in this song wander through a hall of mirrors, disoriented and searching, hands outstretched for something solid while being guided through the dark. It is a song about intimacy, distortion, and the beauty of seeking clarity when everything feels doubled and undone.”

The release follows the success of previous Entropy singles, including “Wayside Lover” featuring Sjava, and “How Dare You,” both of which charted across South African radio and television platforms while amassing hundreds of thousands of views and streams. Each release has unveiled a new, cryptic chapter of the unfolding Entropy narrative.

About Entropy
Entropy is a deeply personal collaboration born from an unexpected yet profound creative bond between Msaki and Jesse Clegg. Written across Cape Town, Johannesburg, Los Angeles, and New York, the EP explores themes of loss, transformation, and rebirth.

“To me, Entropy feels like a snapshot of our lives over the past three years of getting to know each other, ”says Jesse Clegg. “It’s about facing tragedy and loss, but also about finding connection in unexpected places.”

The EP is produced by Greg Abrahams and Nicholas Petricca, with Grammy Award-winning Damian Taylor handling mixing and mastering. Sonically, the project bridges African storytelling with global textures, blending emotive lyricism with cinematic production.

The Visual EP
In parallel with the music, Msaki and Jesse have been gradually unveiling a visual EP, expanding the Entropy universe through a series of interconnected chapters. Following “Wayside Lover,” the duo released “Chapter 4,” the first official visual installment in the series, followed by the video for How Dare You,” designated as Chapter 5.

Fans can expect the full visual EP to be revealed as a surprise accompaniment to the release of Entropy, offering an immersive, cinematic extension of the project’s emotional arc.
