A spin-off from the fan-favourite Braxton Family, The Braxtons was up for a 2025 Namic Vision Award in the Reality category. Collider calls it “an emotionally raw new chapter.”

Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley in the Harry Potter films) stars as Father Brown, a Roman
Catholic priest who uses his confession booth-honed expertise in asking questions and understanding human nature to solve crimes in his village in the 1950s.
The UK’s number 1 daytime drama last year, Father Brown is inspired by the GK Chesterton short stories, which The Guardian confidently proclaimed “the best the genre has ever seen.”
The cosy crime series has been nominated for Best Family Drama at the TV Choice Awards and Best Production Design – Period at the 2025 Online Film and Television Association Awards, among other accolades.

Paleoanthropologist Ella Al-Shamahi reveals humanity’s incredible story across 300 000 years of human evolution. Grammy winner Ice-T returns as Sergeant Fin Tutuola, while Eswatini-born Noma Dumezweni (Murderbot, The Undoing) joins the cast this season as Benson’s new chief, Kathryn Tynan. Fan-favourite Sergeant Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish), who left the squad in Season 24, will be returning to help them face the changing times in New York City.
Bidding an emotional farewell to one of the show’s most beloved originals, the season premiere promises cameos from several former cast members, including Stabler (Christopher Meloni in an Emmy-nominated role) and Dr Huang (Emmy nominee BD Wong).

The Blue Bloods spinoff series Boston Blue centres on Danny Reagan (Emmy nominee Donnie Wahlberg), who’s moved from NYC to Boston to reconnect with his younger son, Sean (Mika Amonsen), a rookie patrol officer.
Danny’s new partner is Detective Lena Silver (Sonequa Martin-Green from The Walking Dead). Like Danny, she comes from a high-profile cop family, including Boston DA Mae Silver (Emmy nominee Gloria Reuben from ER), Police Superintendent Sarah Silver (Maggie Lawson from Psych), rookie cop Jonah (Marcus Scribner from Black-ish) and renowned Baptist pastor Reverend Edwin Peters (Ernie Hudson from Ghostbusters).
Boston Blue has an 82% critics’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has already been renewed for a second season. As Entertainment Weekly promises fans, “Sometimes, the best thing a show can do is deliver exactly what the viewers want – nothing more, nothing less. And that’s just what CBS does with Boston Blue.”

TULSA KING S3

Season 3 of Taylor Sheridan’s hit crime series Tulsa King returns Oscar nominee Sylvester Stallone to his role as former New York Mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi, as he works to establish the mob in Tulsa, Oklahoma after doing 25 years in jail.
This season should see Dwight sitting pretty with a legal marijuana distribution business and his love Margaret (Dana Delany from Desperate Housewives) at his side, but FBI Special Agent Musso (Kevin Pollak from The Usual Suspects), who black-bagged Dwight in the S2 finale, is expecting him to turn informant. Dwight’s moves into the alcohol trade are also set to pit him against an unscrupulous foe (Robert Patrick, aka the T-1000 in Terminator 2).
Look out for Samuel L Jackson as hitman Russell Lee Washington in episode 9, which serves as a backdoor pilot for Tulsa King’s new spinoff series, NOLA King.
Tulsa King was Paramount’s highest-rated debut series of 2022, and stunt co-ordinator Freddie Poole has received Emmy nominations for two years running. Season 3 has an 86% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with Collider praising it as “a thoroughly tense ride… The best that Sheridan’s series has been so far.”
