JOHANNESBURG, July 15 2025 |A track that continues to live up to its name, Izimangaliso meaning “miracles” in isiZulu,
has emerged as a breakout success, captivating audiences across digital platforms. The collaboration between acclaimed producers Yumbs and Zwayetoven, featuring rising talents Kailey Botman and Khanyisa, has now officially surpassed 1.5 million global streams, marking a significant milestone in its journey.

 

Fuelled by organic momentum on TikTok, Izimangaliso quickly evolved into a viral sensation, generating over 44,200 unique creations on the platform. Its deeply emotive lyricism and uplifting message have resonated widely, sparking a groundswell of fan engagement that has translated into sustained traction on streaming services and YouTube.

The song’s lyric video, which captures the raw emotion and sincerity at the heart of the track, has garnered more than 845,000 views to date. In response to overwhelming demand, the official music video dropped just days ago with an exclusive premiere on MTV Base, already exceeding 50,000 views within 72 hours of release on YouTube.

On radio, the track continues to demonstrate staying power, maintaining a position in the Top 100 on South African radio charts for over 12 consecutive weeks.

At its core, Izimangaliso is a story of transformation. For Kailey Botman, the song has been a career-defining moment, one that has propelled her into the spotlight and positioned her as a standout voice in the evolving Amapiano landscape.

About Yumbs

Born Ayanda Oratile Yumba in Kagiso township in 2002, Yumbs is a multi-talented producer/DJ whose musical journey began at age 10, playing drums at his local church. He honed his skills at the National School of Art, learning bass, electric guitar, and teaching himself piano. In his senior year (2020), he composed and directed Hip-Hop Helmet at the Nelson Mandela Theatre and later pursued Audio Technology at the Academy of Sound Engineering.

Yumbs entered the commercial music scene in 2020 by co-producing Musa Keys’ hit “Vula Mlomo” and has since collaborated with top artists like Kelvin Momo, Bien, Pabi Cooper, Major League DJz, and DJ Maphorisa. He was the executive producer on Pabi Cooper’s debut EP Cooperville and released his own EP The First Offering in 2022, featuring artists like Aymos, Babalwa M, and DBN Gogo.

On the international stage, Yumbs collaborated with Will.I.Am and Pharrell Williams at a music camp in Dubai. In late 2023, Ciara tapped him for a remix of her hit “How We Roll” featuring Chris Brown. This was followed by Yumbs producing the official Amapiano remix of Muni Long’s “Made For Me” in 2024.

Starting 2024 strong, Yumbs joined Warner Music Africa’s songwriting camp in Aburi, Ghana, collaborating with international acts like JoeBoy, Bien, Moliy, and producers such as Telz, P.Prime, and TSB.
